Horizontal Type Welding Turntable has been specially designed to meet modern welding requirements and incorporate features essential for efficient and economic welding production.
The basic function of a Horizontal Welding Turntable is to bring the weldment to a convenient position or to turn the joint at a pre-selected speed so that a quality weld can be made on the circumference.
Horizontal Welding Turntable
Horizontal Welding Turntable is basically consists of the drive system for faceplate rotation. Here the Power is obtained through an A. C. Motor (Prime Mover). Further Speed reduction occurs at 3 stages i.e. Through Double reduction Worm Gear Box and by Spur Pinion & Spur Gear.
A. C. Variable Frequency Drive (A. C. VFD) is used to obtain step-less speed variation throughout the speed range and at constant torque. A faceplate is supported on grease-packed anti-friction bearings and sufficient preloading is given to eliminate axial movement of the faceplate along with the job. A. C. Motor directly fitted on double reduction Gear Box.
