    Medium Duty Column and Boom

    The Medium Duty Column and Boom, also known as a Welding Head Manipulator, is designed for reliable and precise welding automation. It is available in Motorized Trolley, Manual Trolley, or Fixed Base configurations to suit different workshop requirements. The welding head is mounted at one end of the boom, allowing stable and accurate positioning during welding operations.

    Welding Column and Boom Design

    The wire spool can be mounted either at the front or rear of the boom for enhanced operational flexibility. Extra Light and Light Duty models (up to 3m x 3m) utilize a lead screw mechanism for vertical movement, while larger systems operate using a rack and pinion arrangement with a counterweight setup for smoother travel and long-term performance.

    The counterweight and boom assembly are securely supported with metallic wire rope, and all models include anti-fall safety mechanisms for improved operational safety. Horizontal boom travel is also driven through a rack and pinion system, ensuring accurate and controlled movement during welding and fabrication processes.
