Goliath Crane ,Semi Goliath Crane/Gantry Cranes are self-propelled cranes running on rails installed at ground level. Gantry Cranes are generally used for moving heavy loads, often outdoors.
When part use of shop bay is required a Semi-Goliath/Gantry Crane is useful.
e.g. Open Warehouses and Docks or Bulk Storage Areas. It’s also widely used in Construction and Infrastructure Development
Depending on the application and agreement with the buyer, special protection is offered for field service cranes. These special features can be: – Corrosion allowance in the construction of the main load-bearing components, drilled holes on a walkway to avoid rainwater accumulation, local full coverage for trolleys, covers for motor/brake for long journeys, additional parking brake for long journeys, special paintwork, etc.
